The 22nd ARRC Symposium

2021 ARRC symposium - Saturday 27 March 2021 - virtual event

The deadline to register and make payment is Wednesday 24 March. The Zoom webinar dial-in link will be sent to you on receipt of payment.

We are delighted to invite you to attend 2021’s acupuncture research symposium. This will be the 22nd, with a magnificent line-up. The virtual format allows us to bring together UK based as well as international speakers to share their research with you: SPANNING THE WORLD FROM UXBRIDGE TO AUSTRALIA.

Terje Alraek, professor at Kristiania University College, Oslo will present on analysis of menopausal hot flush studies: sham devices vs real life acupuncture. Michael Popplewell from Sydney will discuss his work on TCM pattern diagnosis. Other confirmed speakers are John Hughes, Director of Research, Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine and his colleague Catrina Davy, Stephen Birch from Amsterdam, Jonquil Westwood Pinto, Nick Lowe and Spod Dutton, Sandro Graca and Emma Van Loock. There’s a special treat for herbalists with talks from Steve Woodley and Yair Maimon. Our posters have turned into short talks – see old favourites Beverley de Valois and David Mayor, plus Deirdre Murphy from Eire.

Unfortunately there can be no winding down with the ever-popular drinks and networking reception this year but we hope to see you there in 2022.

We are currently finalising our programme but please register  for the event and we will be in touch with more information in due course.

We look forward to seeing you in March.
